Annually, the Funen Art Academy is offering about 12-14 workshops.
These workshops are run by the subject instructors and by external teachers who are artists from Denmark and other countries. Workshops are based on artistic practice and may focus on work production associated with the theme of the workshop.
A workshop may also focus on the relationship between practice and theory and on various artistic methods.
Also 6-8 special and mini workshops are offered annually. A special workshop is typically a workshop course focusing on practical skills and craftsmanship. A mini workshop is a thematic workshop starting out from a strictly defined subject matter.
Workshop teaching is joint teaching. A group consists of 12-15 students. It is expected that the students are able to work together and on their own during a workshop course.
